Suncoast Trail, Florida, United States

4.5 (5 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #8 in Odessa Biking Trails • Hiking Trails

We saw a couple dolphins and I found lots of sand dollars.

The best part of the trip was finding sand dollars. Kive and Tim told us exactly where to go. It was a wonderful trip. The first boat ride for my 5 year old grandson. We all enjoyed the trip! Thank you!

    Very nice bike trail
This is excellent for a nice bike trail, not on a hot day though. Many areas are devoid of vegetation or shadows.

State Road 54 to Anderson Snow park
This trail runs parallel to the Suncoast Parkway, a north-south toll highway. The proximity to the highway means road noise. This 100% asphalt trail is flat and in very good condition with little debris. You will have a smooth ride having to cross less than ten roads. Fresh, cold water is available at some rest areas but they are not plentiful. Restrooms are either the "green door" or Anderson Snow Park. Food is not available. You have little shade until mid afternoon. This is not what I would call a scenic ride. However, we had an enjoyable ride on a Monday encountering only a handful of other riders. Every 100 feet a phone number and code are stenciled on the trail for use in case of emergency. This trail also connects with the Upper Tampa Bay Trail.
