The Straz Center began as a dream by visionary citizens of Tampa who persevered to bring to reality one of the finest performing arts centers in the nation. At both the local and national level, it provides access to more than 700,000 people of all ages, abilities and cultures each year. It also provides jobs for artists and other professionals who have a passion for the arts and for our mission.

Great experience
We attended the Army Field Band performance. It was wonderful. It was presented in the Carol Morsani Hall, just an absolutely beautiful building. Ushers were quite helpful. Clean restrooms. I do recommend coming well in advance of performances to get good parking. We ended up in the Poe public parking tower; only $10. for the event parking.

Shout - fabulous.
First time at the Straz Center. Area was hard to navigate as there is construction, however, we came in afternoon and bought tickets at box office saving service fees. Parking was convenient and walkable. Price for parking was reasonable. Now, about the show. It was awesome. We enjoyed it so much. The performers were outstanding. Voices incredible. The theater was the Jaeb which is small and perfect for this show. We highly recommend this show and the Straz Center. Whole area was pretty.
