    Fun but expensive
We went to Snowcat Ridge for the first time 11/20/22. We had fun. There was a lite rain that day, but we pre booked our time and there is no refunds or changes allowed. They should change that!! It was fun 2 hours of snow tubbing. $9.00 to rent ice skating, you can bring your own. Snow igloo was great!! The only thing is it EXPENSIVE!! Look for coupon codes online to save money. We paid $49.00 a person on a Sunday 6-8 PM. I think $24.00 a person is reasonable. Fun ? but look for those coupons codes

    Huge disappointment
Just came from there, 12/30/2022. There are so many things wrong with this place. First of all they oversold at least 5 times of their capacity. We have been to Hawk's Nest in NC tubing and they regulate the amount of tickets they sell, which creates a pleasant experience. That is not the case for Snow Cat Ridge. They sell tickets as long as someone is buying them. The lines are huge, the electric lines are overrun and moving sidewalk stopped few times as we were going up, so you have to drag the heavy tube up the hill without the conveyor. They don't have an adequate breaking system, you can feel in single tubing how your spine cracks after hitting the hard surface at the end of the hill, and I am only 115 Lb. The situation is a little better in a family tubes as they have some bumper on the inside. In two hours our grown kids was able to ride 6 times only. In women bathrooms the doors will not lock, bathrooms itself are state fair style. The food didn't have many options. The igloo might be ok for younger children who didn't see snow before, but that is it. There were too many people in there as well, so huge crowd mushing a slash. The skating line looked OK, but we were so disappointed with everything also, so we just left. Definitely will not recommend and will not go back.
