Fun time watching Polo
Watching Polo is a fun activity, even if you don't know anything about polo. it's colorful, the horses are fast and so is the game. get to the grounds early, around 10 am so you can pull your car up to edge of the field and tailgate. leave room between cars for friends that will be joining the tailgate. In between matches walk over to see the staging area where they keep the horses. there is a clean public bathroom and some food trucks

Wonderful day
We had a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon at the Sarasota Polo grounds at Lakewood Ranch. The polo match was a lot of fun. They have a bar and Mexican food truck to purchase drinks and snacks, otherwise you can tailgate and byob.

Fun afternoon for friends and families - even if you’ve never seen a polo match before!
Fun afternoon and dog friendly! (Dogs must be leashed and well behaved.) We had a great time watching the match. The announcer was funny, and explained the game so all of us newbies could follow along, while still entertaining those who have been before. We loved how dog friendly it is and appreciate the opportunity to include our dogs in a day of fun.
