glad i had a groupon credit to pay for this
Maybe it was the cranky people in our tour group that just made it a letdown (just found them to not be enjoying any part of this adventure as soon as we got on the bus, but our driver could have had more interaction and got us pumped for the tour)There weren't enough seats for everyone on the bus that took us out to Gator Park, one lady had to sit on the floor at the stairs on the way back as none of the adults with kids would make their child sit on their lap for the ride back. $3 for a bottle of water is a bit extreme especially in this heat, so we didn't even consider a meal. The tour guide on the airboat was great, and funny, and we did get to see a few gators in the water. The wildlife show was short and he moved around to fast for any good pictures to be taken,( and my camera does still pictures in a moving vehicle.) Overall I believe it took more time to drive out to the park then the tour itself. I would have hoped for a longer tour on the airboats, or just more overall.

Just go to the gator park on your own- not worth the tour.
The ride out to the gator park was awful and the bus felt like it was going to break down, at the park you are ushered it to the store to buy water and mosquito repellant, you have to buy it from one certain cashier, which makes me believe the tour guide gets a cut of all sales. Then you go Into a baot and spend barely 30 min riding around the Everglades. You only see two of the "hundreds of species in the Everglades" the gator show was cool, and holding an alligator was neat. The part that really irritated me was that after all the activities we spent 1.25 hours doing nothing! Forcing you to eat at the gator park, which is super expensive. No where did the tour company tells us we were going to be there for that long afterwards, what a racket!! Oh yeah and we had to order from the one check out! Waste of money.
