Rum 138 made it soo easy!
We enjoyed an amazing kayak adventure the first Monday of August. With many of the parks closed due to high water levels, we had the Santa Fe and springs almost entirely to ourselves. The folks at Rum 138 were easy to work with on scheduling as weather conditions changed along the river. On the phone and in person, the tips and guidance provided made us feel at ease on our first Sante Fe River trip. Can't wait for our next adventure with Rum 138. Be sure to take time to enjoy local artists' works on displayed at the shop.

Outstanding people
If I could rate them higher than 5 stars-Excellent, I would. Doug, his wife, and his employees treat you as a friend, not just a customer. We were fortunate enough to find them when we decided to purchase a Vibe kayak and the whole experience was so great that we automatically decided to go back there to purchase our second Vibe. I also have a personal experience to share to show why they deserve the highest rating. Recently they shuttled our Vibes to the Santa Fe River and during the trip, my husband injured his shoulder. He was unable to continue paddling and when we called Rum 138 for help, they came and picked us up within an hour. I don't know what we would have done without their help. They are an excellent example of how businesses should treat their customers. Everyone there is so friendly, kind and accommodating that it's a great pleasure doing business with them.

Best river store ever!
An incredible place with super knowledgeable staff and very eco-conscious business. They rent canoes and kayaks and paddleboard‘s and sell them also and they also run a shuttle service on the nearby river. During the winter they have amazing music on their outside stage and really really good food. Please check this place out if you can it’s amazing!
