Lovely pier to visit
This is one of the nicest piers that we have visited- the walkway was expansive and the pier felt so solid and substantial. We felt very safe walking on the pier. Masks were required . It was not very crowded and most of the people we saw had masks on. There were a few people fishing and we saw at least 2 fishermen who were successful in catching fish. One had to throw back his catch as it was under 18" - it was a snapper . A couple of fishermen had several lines in the water and was just going back and forth to check their lines. We were told that you didn't have to get a license to fish from the pier but you had to pay $6 a day . We had a great time watching the people fishing , talking to some of the fishermen and just relaxing on one of the many benches on the pier enjoying the sea breeze and the views. Planned to go back for a second visit but couldn't find the time.

Beautiful New Pier
Amazing. Really wide pier. great construction, Lots of back lit pictures of fish in the area. Love the sail design. At the end of the pier it is shaped like a pompano fish with mouth and eye areas. The eye itself is open and fenced so you can see straight down into the water and the fish hiding among the pilings. Super clean and we will be back many times

Wonderful free pier
This is now known as The Fisher Family Pier. It had been rebuilt and is a wonderful place to visit or to go fishing. There is a bait and tackle shop right on the pier. The cost for fishing is $6.00 per day. There is no charge for just accessing the pier. The end is shaped like a fish's head designed to look like the City's namesake a Pompano fish. This is a wonderful place to take pictures and to see the coast and the beach. No pets and no alcohol are allowed. There are many restaurants, ice cream shops and other shops both right at the pier and within walking distance. The restaurants are varied from a snack bar all the way up to a fancy high end option. Some have beautiful oceanside tables.
