    Beautiful View of the Gulf
We had a great visit. We had paid to watch the Blue Angels fly at the top of the lighthouse but the show was cancelled. We didn’t mind at all. The museum is very interesting and the view from the top is wonderful. The bus driver was informative and kind. Most our group was happy to stay and explore the museum while some others were ready to leave the minute the show was cancelled. I would suggest the tour put a disclaimer that if the show is cancelled once on sight visitors to the lighthouse have X amount of time to go through the museum (for example: an hour.) That way everyone knows what their commitment is before agreeing to go on base to the lighthouse. We really loved our visit, despite the cancellation of the show. The lighthouse is beautifully restored. Bring water and be prepared to get a calf burn on the stairs to the top. Thank you for offering tours right now, despite the hurdles of getting on base.

    Excellent View!
Went to the lighthouse mid-April specifically to watch the Blue Angels practice flight. The shuttle bus driver was extremely friendly and right on time. The lighthouse is in excellent condition, and still has the first-order Fresnel lens mounted in it. It's the best spot in Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels. Rating 5 out of 5, but still would have liked a little more time to go through the museum afterwards.
