A peaceful place to fish or enjoy the water views
We found this place by chance and we're glad we did. We're always looking for a place to drop a line and sit a bit hoping to catch the elusive fish. While we didn't catch any fish on our visits here, the scenery and serenity were terrific. This is a great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet and watch a boat or two go by. Maybe the next time we'll catch a fish.

Very Secluded Fishing Spot
Located at the end of a canopy road, this place off the Tamiami Trail is hidden but easy to locate. There's plenty of places to fish, but virtually nowhere to park. There appears to be a decrepit former motel at the end of the road where there is a driveway loop. We stopped long enough to take pictures and speak with a couple who were fishing there - they were not biting the day we visited....LOL.
