Ride the Tide down the Tolomato River

We had a great morning paddling down the Tolomato River with Ben, our guide who was friendly, patient and informative! He guided us safely through some very shallow areas as well as those with many oyster beds. There were 12 kayaks so he had his hands full but made it fun and answered all our questions and then some! We loved the scenery and the calm water. We kayaked a total of 5 miles downstream but it was still somewhat of a challenge and great exercise!

    Friendly, professional, informative, educational, worthwhile
    Though the weather did not cooperate, Ben was great and provided great information on the tour, helped make the most with what was available of a strong wind. Though I was raised in the area, I learned tons and was able to see the bioluminescence. Ben's approach helped bring the tour to life and added an extra flair to an unexpected part of NE Florida. I would recommend.

    Great activity
    Stayied at Ponte Vedre to play golf at Sawgrass and had a free day - after looking around we decided on kayaking at North Guana. Great facility and friendly staff - spent 2 hours kayaking on the reserve and saw alligators, eagles and a variety of other birds. A very serene and peaceful few hours and well worth a visit - very resonable kayak hire prices as well. Very easy activity and fun for all.
