Nice Cigar Assortment, But Wine??
This has been a cigar store for many years... They have a good selection and OK prices... Not the best when you take internet into consideration.... They remodeled and made a "cigar smoking room", which is very nice. They should urgently improve the extraction system... Basically none!! After 1.5 hours, I even felt out of breath! The other flaw, wine? Who drinks wine with a cigar? You KILL both flavors, so basically if you are going to do that, do yourself a favor and buy a 50 cent cigar and a 5$ bottle... Will taste exactly the same... They should urgently apply for a spirits licence and have some nice Single Malts, Rums or Cognacs...

You don't get what you see in the catalog
On pg. 40 of their catalog 1065 - July 24, they have a 2 pictures of Omar Ortez cigars. The pic on the LEFT is a box of 50 cigars (they do not even sell this box) and the COLOR is much lighter than the cigars you actually get which are the cigars on the UPPER RIGHT of the page. I thought I was getting the cigars on the left which were considered NATURAL but got the box on the right which were much darker, certainly too dark to be considered natural, BUT that is what you get. The point is...because of the different color in the PICTURE, you make a decision based on that PICTURE. Because of the fault of the producer of the catalog (Mikes Cigars and their photographer) I got cigars that were very much DARKER that what was pictured, and it is THEIR fault not MINE. All I wanted was for THEM to pay for the shipping back because it was THEIR fault in , NOT TO BE! After bouncing me to 3 different people who had TERRIBLE communication skills (kept talking over me all the time) they still would not agree it was Mikes fault for producing a catalog that did not illustrate the product properly in color. One CS girl DID AGREE that the picture was totally different in color, then went off on some ridiculous tangent on how the cigars were made, and how I did not know how to ID different cigar colors and more. Then she starts acting like me returning the cigars is a big deal with them. EVERY cigar mail order house allows you to return cigars if only 1 or 2 of them are missing, that is a GIVEN! Mikes Cigars, is obviously a ONE HORSE operation, and wants to pinch every penny and a shipping charge of 7 bucks is going to break them up? I would recommend that you NEVER do business with Mikes Cigars and be taken off their mailing list (if you ARE on it) , they...are...TROUBLE!

False Advertising
Watch the false advertising. Advertisement clearly showed a sale on cigar tins (cigarillos). When I went to buy, they ones that are pictured in the ad where not included.in the Dale (so they said), even though the ad said all tins are on sale. Tried getting assistance via email, which turned very rude. Sent letters to the company with both further response.
