Bradenton Area (Manatee) Convention Center
The Bradenton Area Convention Center is a very big place. We went there for a week-long Bill Bailey Gospel Music Convention. The Center is actually located along the scenic Manatee River in Palmetto along Rte 41 (S. Tamiami Trail). There are several rooms and a large arena capable of holding very large gatherings. Other events at the Center in early 2019 include the Bradenton Home Show, Canadian Snowbird Association Winter Information Meeting, Regional Bridge Tournament, and Florida Gun Shows. When we were there, there was a room where a good continental breakfast was served, with a large room across the hall with tables for overflow and fellowship. The chapel service was in another large room and the concerts were held in the arena called the Gulf Islands Center Hall which seats up to 4000 people. The foyer is very large and can also be used for various purposes. This center is the perfect location for events such as seminars, banquets, trade shows, concerts, weddings, and sporting events. The Local Gem
Manatee Convention Center was the locale for the Garden Brothers Circus on November 5 & 6, 2018. It has plenty of parking, it's clean, and has the ability to accommodate meetings and concerts as well. Its locale is right off U.S. 41 & Haben Blvd. making it easy to get to. I think they have changed the name to Bradenton Convention Center but whatever they call it, it's a great facility.
