This also constitutes the Intracoastal waterway and it's important to stay in the channel with any draft over six feet. There are oyster beds and shoal water outside of the channel. Dolphins will often follow along and beg for handouts. A nice scenic trip.

FISHING
I fish there often! Little Sarasota Bay is a regular spot for my charters. Excellent grass flats with Spotted Trout. Beautiful scenery from the boat. A great place to boat and fish as well as sight see.

Little Sarasota Bay is a magical place - no wonder mankind has been here for over 5000 years! Every direction you look the natural beauty is breathtaking!
