La Chua Trail, Florida, United States

What a site.
April 18 2021 Took people from out of town to hopefully see lots of alligators on the trail and we weren’t disappointed. The trail has been opened up after an extended closure and you are able to walk quite a ways next to lots of alligators sleeping on the banks. Quite a few huge to baby alligators were visible near the water. We enjoyed our visit to La Chief Trail.

Birds of Prey
The trees at this park are utterly amazing. We saw 20+ birds of prey and one huge gator. Our walk covered a short distance but was very interesting. If you come for nothing else, you will be entertained at the sight of the trees.

Fantastic
I love this place, always an experience, wildlife viewing at it's best. This is the real deal and not a zoo! Watch yourself. A tourist type walked past me as I was standing a few feet from a 12' gator basking in the sun, "These look real" he said ...I warned him they are most certainly real. This was a great morning, I got to see a Bison and even got a crappy cell phone picture (all I had but I didn't want to lose the moment) Sadly the cell picture is too small to load for this site
