    Wonderful Museum
I truely enjoyed this museum. I went on $10 Tuesday and was lucky to reserve the last spot in the docent led tour. I highly recommend this, if possible, as the docent's added information was very interesting and added to my appreciation of the beautiful artwork. So many beautiful pieces, but my favorites are the bronze statues and the wildlife art. I like the fact that Mr. & Mrs. James have colllected from, and in turn have supported, living artists, as looking for the artists work will make my future travels more fun. By sharing their personal collection, they have truely "given" St. Petersburg and its visitors something to treasure.

    An Enjoyable Museum Display
We were first attracted to the James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art by their special exhibit of the works of Ansel Adams and Clyde Butcher. As a fan of Butcher’s work, this was a must-see for me. This exhibit did not disappoint. The Museum has several permanent galleries depicting western art as well as wildlife art. We throughly enjoyed the wildlife art exhibit. I was also pleased RP to see Frederic Remington’s The Mountain Man on display. A captivating display was John Coleman’s Honeymoon at Crow Fair, depicting a frontier couple on horseback going to the fair. It is set against a waterfall background. It’s a small museum so it can be a up to couple of hours or longer if you choose to linger. Tuesday admission is only $10 at present.
