FanGLASStic! GLASSolutely Amazing!
This museum is surely to blow your IMAGINATION out of the water! There’s truly some incredible and mind-blowing art to be found here! Two floors full of creativity, color, and wonder. I mean 100%, it seems like there’s no way some of this stuff is handmade from glass. It’s crazy!! Especially after I watched this Netflix show that’s all about glass blowing, I feel like I had even more of an appreciation for just how difficult it is to make these things and how impeccable of an art it is. These people flipping know how to create! I just can’t say enough good things about the Imagine Museum. Plus, I think they bring in new pieces every so often, so going there more than once brings with it even more new experiences and wonder. The admission also isn’t terrible, and on sundays it’s only $5 so keep that in mind!! You do have to book tickets online ahead of time so also be aware of that, but we had no problem securing tickets for a group of 3 about 2 hours prior! Sooooo cool and worth it!!! One of the best museums in St. Pete/ Clearwater area by far!

Demonstrating (emphatically) that glass is much more than Chihuly
Some really skilled glass work here, as well as outright whimsy on the second floor (don't miss - I noticed many do). It's nice to get a break from ruling Chihuly style stuff (perhaps b/c I'd recently been to Seattle!) and be reminded what one can do with cast and polished glass as well as the interpretive forms of art that can be created. Glass can be a pun, tell a story, evoke an emotion - really anything another medium can do, and need not only be blown into something vaguely resembling a seashell (or another 'chandelier' - yes, they do have one of those / Chihuly is represented too). I'd suggest going on 1/2 price Sundays when this place becomes a bona fide bargain.
