Nice, fun place to walk around

This 2.5-mile pedestrian promenade in south Florida is crowded with joggers, cyclists and beachgoers of all ages. The Hollywood Beach Broadwalk is great for a fun day out—with activities for both the adults and the kids. Here, you can chill at one of the many cafes perfect for resting and people-watching. You can also rent a bike and enjoy the cool ocean breeze as you pedal or take a leisurely walk along the waterfront. When hungry, you can stop for tacos or a steak, and treat yourself to some ice cream without having to leave the Broadwalk. – Tripadvisor

    The "broadwalk"
    In Hollywood Beach, they call it a broadwalk and not a boardwalk. I really enjoyed strolling up and down the entire path. It was a beautiful day and great weather. For a Saturday morning, I did not feel it was crowded, but I imagine it gets busy once lunch and dinner hour hit. There are a lot of restaurants along the way and some good deals to be found.

    Great beach for young and old
    They have it all. This is a long stretch of well maintained beach and boardwalk (now newly layered brick) with shops, restaurants, bars, hotels and no cars. There are plenty of options on wheels like bicycles, roller blades, Segways, Tricycle Taxis, etc., if you don’t feel like walking. Later in the evening there was live entertainment featuring a very good bluesy/rock band sponsored by Margaritaville Resorts on an open stage right on the boardwalk. Plenty of seating was set up about an hour prior to the show. Lots of people around to keep the entire place clean and safe. Loved it.
