Harborside was a pleasant improvement to Jupiter

I lived in Jupiter for years before moving in 2009. I returned to visit almost a decade later, and I couldn't believe how much the entire area of Jupiter had improved and Harborside Place was a huge part of that improvement. Plus the amazing major cleanup and expansion of the coastline, the beaches actually look like tropical island beaches instead of Jersey shore beaches it did 10 years prior. ( Thank you Lt. Col. Allen West) People complaining about noise will complain about anything, I've come to realize in my years of living in many different states and communities. To let that curtail anything positive is a tragedy, and should be fought by all who enjoy such a great improvement to a once shoddy looking area. Some people cannot stand the sound of others enjoying life, and they should be told to go back to where their misery will welcome their company, NOT in Jupiter, FL, No Way. Keep Jupiter vital and beautiful, great job.

Nice shopping and dining area...and very clean
This is a nice shopping area with a mix of higher-end shops (Tommy Bahama, Chico's, Lola Dre' to name a few...as well as a handful of restaurants (The Woods, Tommy Bahama, a breakfast place and a yogurt shop). You can even stop in one of the retail offices and talk to someone about your next yacht!...yep, no kidding!! We happened to stop on a Sunday morning and they had a marketplace set up of additional local vendors. We were also able to walk through the marketplace and shops and get a few things. The area was along the waterfront and the overall surroundings were very clean and well kept.

    Difficult Parking, Empty Stores
This mixed use development has had troubles since its opening. Most of the issues stem from a fight over noise with the town of Jupiter. Outdoor concerts have been curtailed which makes it a bit more difficult for stores and restaurants to thrive. Parking is also an issue. It's just not the destination that the builders were hoping for.
