Everything you would want in a brewery and more!!
The Halpatter Brewing Company is firing on all cylinders! First and foremost, the venue is incredible. It's a historical building that was once a Department of Transportation office building. The building has been updated to masculine chic. The beertender Holly, a part owner, was very friendly, knowledgeable, personable. I was interested in the gose beers as that seemed to be their specialty. I was able to sample all of them and ended up with mango and then later the watermelon. Both were amazing! My husband had both IPA's and said they were great. The food was fantastic as well. We had the smoked fish dip, a side of the mac & cheese and the pretiola board. All were delicious!! My children enjoyed the house made orange and cream sodas. Two thumbs up for having great drink options for kids! We have visited countless breweries all throughout the nation and this one has quickly risen to one of our very favorites! We'll definitely be back!

Soooo Good!
Stopped in while traveling through the area. Based on their website, I didn’t expect them to have good. But they do have a small menu of items. I chose the original smash burger and French fries….either I was really hungry OR these were maybe the best fries I’ve had in my life…so good!! They are natural cut, skin on and have some sort of seasoning…I dunno, but I could have eaten my body weight in them! The burger was perfect also - flavorful and juicy.. it was just a regular bun, but they toasted it which was a nice touch. They have a really cold outdoor space which was perfect this early evening. For a Saturday evening, they were surprisingly dead. The beer was solid…I especially liked the hefe - it paired really well with the warm evening and the burger/fries. Their cream ale has apparently won numerous awards…it was okay…I‘ve had better. The Mexican lager was solid. I also tried the hazy IPA (even though I generally don’t like IPAs)…it was decent (if you like IPAs you’ll likely like this very much). Their outdoor space has bags, a couple of fire pits (for those cool Florida evenings??), a small performance space and a deck overlooking it all. I would definitely come back!

Great place, great beer!
Somehow people got together and built a fantastic brewery in Lake City Florida of all places. Great beer selection that includes Halpatter favorites and an ever changing selection of new brews. Live music and other activities mean there is always something going on. However, there is always a quiet place to gather and chat with friends. You should not go to Lake City without stopping in!
