Love Gulfport!
The town of Gulfport was a fun, friendly, quirky little town that we thoroughly enjoyed visiting. While there, we visited the Casino building which has an interesting history as a gathering place. Lots of community activities take place there - Tai Chi on the day we visited. We had the pleasure of meeting the "cultural facilities events supervisor," Justin Shea, who clearly loved being a resident and representative of Gulfport. He took quite a bit of time telling us about the town and many of the events supported by the town. Be sure to check out Gulfport if in the Treasure Island area and don't miss the Casino building, the waterfront and the dock, and Stella's Restaurant. We look forward to visiting again.
