Gracious docents.

Was so relieved that this historic building had a wheelchair access. Be certain to bring cash, they don't accept credit cards. This museum has a donation jar. Take the kids, they will enjoy the interaction.

    Makes you feel good
What a nice place to spend some time and catch up on the beach history. The museum is not very big, does not cost to get in, the memorabilia very local and cool and everyone is friendly and has a story. We found this to be more than we expected. The old church/house conversion is part of the story and you get that homey feeling. The history of the people and the development of the area is pretty nicely laid out for you. It will help you appreciate the area more. If you are like us the donation jar gets a little help. :)

    Wonderful little museum
They pack a lot of history in this small building that is informative, educational and interesting. They are operated by volunteer staff. The lady who was there the day we visited was very passionate and informative (didn't catch her name but she is from Minnesota). The museum is free but they encourage donations.
