A great place to take your kids or grandchildren
We have had a family membership for a few years although we let the membership lapse in 2020 with covid and only picked it up over a year later. I joined with my daughter and the grandchildren, but generally it's just me and the youngest grandchild on school holidays or Saturdays while her mother is able to run errands, but all of the children enjoy the place. There is a wide range of educational activities, and the children there have a great time. I've met parents and grandparents there and my granddaughter has made some friends there. The best deal is to buy a year's membership, it's very cost effective. A basic family membership for 5 is $175 whereas individual tickets are $15 for each child, $12 for adults and $11 for 55 an up. If you go once with 2 adults and 3 children it's $69 for the one day so it pays to get the membership even if you just go three times a year. If you need a place to go on spring break it pays to have the membership and you'll be glad you have it in the summer and the Christmas break.

    Expensive and not so clean.
I had a yearly pass with my granddaughter before and just visited museum again. Was very disappointed. Not only they raised a prices , for a kid $15 to play maybe 1 and 1/2 hour is terrible. They removed and replaced lots of stuff with "things" that has nothing to do with kids and play . The most unsanitized is the "beach". Adults sitting inside with a shoes and boots on and children playing with rubber sand with hands. How about the sign "NO SHOES ALLOWED". I saw it personally so many times. Special now, you can clean and sanitize tables when you have people brining all the stuff on their shoes right in. Will not visit or support this place anymore.
