    Shooting range
I have gone to Florida Gun Center for several years now. I have never had a problem with employees or other shooter. The employees are always respectful and willing to help with anything you are looking for.

    Unclear and Non-Posted Prices
This was my first time visiting this particular shooting range. My observations are more suggestions to improve on a facility which has the potential to be a great range; in my unqualified opinion. 1. Post a sign outside with directions for those arriving before the range opens so a line forms for lane assignments. The last thing you want is an argument outside your establishment between people with GUNS. 2. Be clear with your charges. When I called the day before I was quoted $15.00 for range use. I had ALL of my own equipment, to include hearing and vision protection, ammo and my own targets. When I arrived I was told I had to purchase their targets. What's up with that? Don't enough shooters purchase your targets that you shouldn't have to have a mandatory sales charge for targets. 3. MANGAGE THE CROWDS. I was the 11th shooter to check in on a Saturday morning. So the nice attendant behind the counter allowed me to use one of the three rifle lanes; even though I was there to shot a hand gun. After about 15 minutes there were at least seven other shooters using the other two other rifle lanes. It was crowded and unpleasant. 4. Be clear with the lane charge policy. Is the charge per lane, or per shooter. If I'm sharing ONE lane with my partner do I pay $15.00 or $30.00, even though we're only using one lane? Make it clear... Post the charges. I found the range to be clean, well stocked with great gear and modern lane operating equipment. This was my first time going to this range and I plan I going back just to see if that day was just a fluke. I'd really like to make this range my home for future shooting trips.
