Great ride for all skill levels
A group of friends and I tried this place out for a trail ride. We all enjoy riding and have done it enough we consider ourselves experienced. A lot of times even though we enjoy riding in different areas and seeing new things, we are a little bored by the slow pace and the way the guides treat everyone like they don't know what they are doing. That didn't happen here! We all had horses that still had some life in them, without being uncontrollable. The guide took time to talk to us and asked about our horse experience so she could give us the best possible ride. She actually listened and watched us to confirm we knew what we were doing and treated us accordingly. It was a beautiful ride, and would for sure ride here again if in the area. Great horses and people.

Best Riding Experience in South West Florida.
Having grown up around horses I've met a variety of horse owners. Robin and her crew at 5 Star are some of the best. I've never had a bad time here at this barn. I've suggested it to may people. All of the horses are well taken care of and loved. They know their jobs and do it well. They make riding in Florida fun! I do recommend you wear comfy jeans, close toed shoes or boots, and maybe a shirt you don't mind getting dirty. I mean it's a horse barn your bound to get a horses face rubbed on your shirt lol. If it's during the day I do recommend sun screen and possibly some bug spray. However, my favorite ride here was a moonlight ride. We took out the horses on a full moon, the whole barn went with us. We all had a blast. After our long ride we sat around the barn and bonfire and talked. My husband taught some folks to crack whips which was a whole other level of comical. The moral of this is anytime you go to Five Star you will have a blast!

Amazing horses and great stables!
I loved how they treat their horses and customers very well. They also allow you to pet the horses and cats in the stables. While on the ride the employees were very social and love to talk with the customers. They also give good instructions and if you mis-hear they can repeat it for you. There was also a horse named Tuff which is grey or gray and he’s really playful and another horse called diva which has different eye colors. Overall, I had an amazingly great experience.
