2 Awesome Days of Fishing - Tarpon, Cobia, Redfish, Snapper, Grouper!!!
I have fished with Capt Matt Santiago several times over the past 10 years and I've always had a great experience and caught some great fish. This trip was no exception. I booked 2 days and the bite was on fire!! The 1st day we caught 2 tarpon about 50 lbs each and lost a BIG ONE estimated about 150lbs - unfortunately the hook pulled after about a 10 minute fight and a few incredible jumps. We also caught a nice cobia, snapper and grouper that came home for dinner. 2nd day we targeted redfish and the action was non-stop with double and triple headers of nice fish averaging 24-30". I lost count, but we probably caught 20 or 30 redfish. We caught a ton of great fish and Capt Matt is a great guy to fish with, not to mention, his new boat (Sabalo 27) is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend Capt. Matt and look forward to fishing with him again soon

I was in the Tampa area on a work trip and had a day to kill and called CPT Matt. He put two boats together for a group of us. Weather became a little shakey, but Matt never batted an eye. He worked with us around the weather and actually spent some extra time with us in the flats. Caught lots of Fish on a day that may have been cancelled with other guides. Great guy, great knowledge and awesome equipment.

Best Fishing Charter Ive ever been on!
Captain Matt Santiago is the best, period! He picked us up at little harbor resort and marina in his beautiful custom built andros fishing boat. He was on time and had a livewell full of fresh live bait. My two young boys and I fished with three local captains that week and we caught more snook, redfish, and trout with Captain Matt than the other two combined! Not only does he have extensive knowledge of Tampa Bay, but he is a super nice and patient guy. You will not only catch fish with him, but learn a lot and have a great time. I highly recommend him and cant wait to come back down and fish with him again! Doug, R.
