    Hidden gem in the city
After living in the local for over 15 years, finally we found this hidden gem in the city. The gnome garden is carefully taken care of by papa Gnome. The beautiful tropical plants and trees are managed by volunteers everyday and there is no admission fee. Stop by if you are in town.

Very nice- we enjoyed our visit
Nice, quiet & relaxing, beautiful place. Tons of different species of plants. Several Gravel Pathways through tropical foliage. Big sculptures of dinosaurs. Old remains of the former sugar mill that used to stand there with interesting plaques giving historical information about it. Admission is free but they have a donation box at the entrance/exit where you can donate if you wish. We spent about 45 minutes there and enjoyed our time. It was not very busy at all on a Friday afternoon- practically had the place to ourselves. Definitely recommend a visit if in the area.
