Public is welcome

Nice walkway with lots of space to sit on the beach or grassy area. Limited public metered parking along a short stretch of the beach. Also there are a couple of fee based public parking garages. Plenty of good eats near Fisherman’s pier. Fun and relaxed place to visit for a few hours or holiday.

    Perfect family beach day
We traveled during a popular week. The beach was busy. If you arrived before 11am you could get street parking. Street parking was affordable. There is a cost for all parking, so be prepared. The ocean is nice for young kids. Shallow for a long way out. We rented lounges/chairs and umbrellas which was 100% worth it for us and affordable in my opinion, 60$ for 2 for the whole day - Oceanside Beach Services I believe it was called. Again, get there early to get one of those. Lots of food options and shopping around the area of the pier. Great family beach day.

    Beautifully clean beach
As with most southeast coast Florida beaches Deerfield is very crowded during school break times. It is well maintained and lifeguard patrolled with good umbrella / beach chair rentals. Lots of rip tide days this season, keeping people out of the water
