Open air market with lots of tasty options and unique art and decor shops!
We visited on an overcast football Sunday so the crowd was sparse, but even still, it was a little tough to find a parking spot. If you can walk or Uber over, it may be a good idea. All in all, it's a small market that you can easily walk in 10-40 minutes depending on how much you gawk and shop. :) STORES: This is a cute street market set amongst a strip of unique little stores. The stores offer adorable home decor options (and other stuff like a ladies fashion and a shoe store, but heavy on home decor and art). If you want unique beach, salt water or coastal decor items for your home, or to give as gifts or souvenirs, this place has a lot to offer. Small items for every budget from $1 soaps, $3-5 trinkets, ornaments etc, $10-40 art and accent pieces and higher. We loved the shops here! There are 2 sit down restaurants as well. MARKET: In the street market, you will find fresh fruit and vegetable stands, fresh bakery and baked goods. Try the gent who makes his own sourdough. $5 loaf, weighs a lot and tastes like heaven toasted up with some butter. You will also find stalls selling home made jams, local honey, smoked fish spreads, hand made art and really cool plants, including dangling air plant holders, jewelry, painted silks and more. There is also a thai massage stand. The southern BBQ stand will get your attention, as will the smell of fresh, hot kettle corn and caramel popcorn wafting through the air. We highly recommending a bag of caramel popcorn enjoyed right there, while it's still warm. YUM! If we lived locally, I think we would visit often. Definitely worth a trip for some fresh and unique finds!

    Best Market
I have gone to many markets around the St. Petersburg area (including the downtown market and treasure island market) and the Corey Avenue Sunday Market is by far my favorite. It may not be the largest market but has great variety of products ranging from food, clothing, and artwork. If my trip falls on a Sunday I never miss it. I love the fresh baked goods and bought one of my favorite pieces of art from the market. I wish the market ran all year but understandably it is hot in the summertime.
