Improv Theater Group was very funny at the Cinematique
We had dinner downtown Daytona Beach on a Tuesday evening and discovered that there was an Improv Group called the Random Acts of Insanity Tuesday at 8 pm at the Cinematique. It was a fun audience of about 35 people and a great comedy routine. They said they rated their routine as a PG13 and it was true - nice clean fun that included easy audience participation. I recommend it for a fun evening. Talented improv group. They also have snacks and beer/wine/water available.

Great Jazz and music venue
We were members but never went to the movies much BUT, we love the Jazz Sundays, and continue to take more and more friends with us. The seating is good and we can see the performers well. The only complaint I have is that the prices for wine are too high and we tend not to buy anything. The staff is lovely and accommodating. It is a treat to have this venue in a culturally dead area! Thank you.

If you're looking for something different...............
If you are looking for something different, Cinematique is the place to go. If you love off beat independent films, you will find them here. The theatre is small, comfortable and prices reasonable. They offer soft drinks, beer, wine and food. Their website has a menu. We just had a couple of drinks and some popcorn, which was a bit too salty! The seating is a combination of a couple of sofas, tables and chairs and directors chairs. We saw "What we do in the Shadows" which was hysterically funny in an odd sort of way! We can't believe that we haven't been here before. We will definitely be back!!! They also have Movies under the Stars, yes outdoors! Check out their website, it was truly a fun and different experience!!!
