    Tucked away and quite pretty
    The bay runs along the area of 10000 Islands and a little spur for Everglades City. Lots of water activities--canoeing, boating, birding and fishing are the primary. Mostly calm where its tucked in and among the islands. Lots of camping along the islands; lots of little villages too

    Good spot for birders
    If you have access to a boat this is a good spot to get close to spoonbills and other wading birds. At low tide the sand bars are just above water level and attract a variety of birds.
