Beautiful, luminescent!
My group came across an ad for the Chihuly exhibit on a tourist map and decided to drop by after visiting the Dali museum. We didn’t know much about the exhibit or artist. But we throughly enjoyed the beautiful glass sculptures and the lighting that best set off their beautiful inner glow. I was sad the gift shop didn’t have more glass items available, but we did get a lovely glass rose made by a local artist (ask the cashier for artist name). There was some debate over whether or not an exhibit that was supposed to only take 30 minutes should cost us $20 a person, but personally I enjoyed it enough (and was mentally prepared for expensive museums when I came to Florida) that it didn’t bother me. There is a little film at the end of the exhibit that was actually quite fascinating to watch and I would recommend stopping to watch it!

Beautiful Glass!
Absolutely gorgeous glass sculptures with helpful explanations about Chihuly and his art. The museum ticket also gives you entry to a nearby glassblowing demonstration which is very interesting. The only negative is that the $20 charge is a little high for a museum that will really only take you 20-30 minutes to go through.
