Barefoot Beach Preserve, Florida, United States

4.5 (1.584 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Southwest Gulf Coast Beaches • Nature & Wildlife Areas

Great clean beach with amenities

Visited here today for the first time. Was $10 for all day parking, which is cheap for the area. Please note they only allow approx 350 cars into the park and after that they close until at least 50 cars leave (told this by attendant collecting the $10). Beaches were clean and family friendly. Bathrooms close by were clean. Would visit again.

    Barefoot Beach 2022
Parking has been raised to $10 daily which has not discouraged crowds. Food is sold but availability is hit or miss .Beach etiquette is sometimes lacking with people setting up chairs, blankets and umbrellas at the end of the walkways onto the beach .(Can't walk a few feet more?) Others leave baby strollers on the walkway . (Really?) I have seen men go into the preserve area to urinate instead of walking to a restroom. Unfortunately ,there does not seem to be as many Park Rangers as in past years. Note: The Pass is being dredged so the end of the beach near the Pass is blocked. Finally, if you don't live in Collier County or pay taxes to Collier County you are a guest at Barefoot Beach . Enough said. .
