Hidden gem of a park
Found this park just surfing google maps and gave it a try. What a hidden gem of a park! This must’ve been a quarry in the past cause it comes with a limestone mountain next to a pristine pond. Absolutely beautiful and very unique for Florida. There’s off-road parking with an information kiosk but no restrooms. Approximately 2 miles of hiking in a loop trail and fishing is allowed in the pond. Not a lot of folks know about this park so it’s a great place to unplug for a couple of hours. Open from dawn to dusk 7 days a week. Definitely recommended.
