Fantastic views
This was a bucket list trip that was picture perfect. The crew was very accomodating and the landing was super soft. Weather was excellent and the value was really good.

1st time Ballooner, but not a last timer!
Hot air ballooning is something we've always wanted to do. So..when American Balloons had a groupon, we jumped on it! It was affordable ($110) and Am Balloons was conveniently located to our home. Warning: If you buy a groupon for this activity be prepared to wait 3-6 months before you can fly. This company sells out quickly and often. However, I see why. They have the best service and experienced people working here. Our pilot was Brandon and he was humorous, knowledgeable and answered all of the questions we threw at him. Due to no fault of ours, we even received an "extended flight" (we missed our landing..thanks Brandon!) After the flight, we headed back to headquarters, had a champagne toast and light snacks. We will definitely do this again - especially when we have guests in town. If you're unsure about this activity, it's safe, fun and quite an adventure. The staff is great!

Time in the air
My wife Karen and I had a great time, the crew was very entertaining but professional at the same time. The only problem I have with the whole deal is that if you fly for 40 minutes as we did you must pay the same as a 90 minute flight this just does not seem right. I know that they have to depend on the weather but $400 is $400. Time with the crew from 0630 -0745 fly for 30 minutes then pack up and have breakfast, done by 1000.
