I just joined the AMC Stubbs group where for a set price I can see up to three movies a week. My son and I made good use of this so we could get caught up on all of the Oscar nominated films before the Academy awards. I saw movies that I would not have normally seen and enjoyed them so much. We purchase the movies online (already paid for), choose our seats, and download the tickets to our iPhones.

Close, convenient and it’s AMC
Is the perfect place to go to the movies, conveniently located near the best restaurants, with a little something for everyone(McGuffins), is the perfect plan any day of the week.

Arrive early with low expectations
My family and I have come here numerous times, and there are always issues! Some of my thoughts below. 1) Arrive way early! There’s never enough staff on hand to make tickets and refreshments a quick process. My family has had it take 45 min to buy tickets and popcorn/drinks...and I was strangely happy it moved so fast. 2) Unless your part of their monthly charge ‘Grade A Program’ expect to be frustrated by #1. 3) Cleanliness! Forget it. The staff always tries, and I give them credit, but I can always find issues, from bathrooms to the soda counters. 4) Age! The theater isn’t truly old, but it feels it. The iMax theaters are nicely kept but some of the smaller ones aren’t nearly as nice (and some can smell kinda moldy) 5) Popcorn: always stale! I’ve come on Friday night (movie prime time) and most other days. I’ve never had a bucket of popcorn that didn’t taste at least a little stale and old. And you can see them popping it fresh, so I’m not sure why, but it always tastes old. 6) Staff: Mostly Teens, but generally positive. I haven’t had a negative experience, but like all teens, it just feels like they’d rather be doing anything BUT helping You. Don’t look for an Outgoing Experience here.
