The airstream trailers buried in the ground!
Earlier this year, my family and I moved to the Tampa area. Upon crossing I-4 heading to Orlando, we drove by the "Airstream Ranch" and went "what in the world was that?" After doing some research, this is what I found: In celebration of Airstreams 75th birthday, a man named Frank Bates, owner of Bates RV, got the idea to burry seven and a half Airstream trailers (one trailer for each ten years, half a trailer for five years) to put in the lot next door to the dealership. When interviewed, he admitted he got the idea from Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas where 10 old Cadlillacs are buried in the ground near I-40. I think most people see this by accident from I-4. If you're not paying attention, and even if you are, you zip by it pretty quick. I had heard that was a way to access it from the nearby exit. Knowing that my family and I were going to be spending the day at nearby Dinosaur World (be sure to see my review there), I thought it would be fun to get an up close look. Unfortunately, after numerous attempts from several different angles, we never could figure out how to get close to it. Later, I read that there is no longer any way to access it. You only get a quick view from the highway. This isn't something to drive out of your way for, but if you happen to see it on I-4, you'll know what it is. I've included 2 pictures from our drive by. There is nothing else there, no reason to stop. If you found this review helpful, please let me know by clicking the button below! I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

    See from I-4
A quirky little planting of old air-stream trailers with a few wooden painted cows along the I-4 corridor. Trailers were planted as a statement of the owner for some 'real' purpose but has been forgotten by most everyone. Different, unique, and a little odd but fun.
