    Enjoyable
It’s an overall solid water park and a nice atmosphere. I live near Orlando and have a pass to their sister park Aquatica but enjoy making the trip out here once in a while just for a change of scenery. It's an older park but they've done a good job keeping it fresh with new rides lately. Just not a fan of the new rule where you HAVE to be in a tube in the lazy river. Also during my most recent visit the wave pool wasn’t working the entire day. Things happen but it didn’t seem like anyone was trying to fix it, they just kept announcing no waves for the day. A little effort to get it fixed would’ve been nice. That’s usually where I spend much of my time and drove over an hour to get there so that was a bummer. Hopefully just a one time thing. Unlike the previous reviewer I've always been allowed to bring in a bunch of bottled water so that's weird they didn't let him. It's stated on their website you're allowed to. There's also water fountains located throughout the park. Might just be best to keep a cooler in the car or at the picnic tables outside the entrance and have lunch there if you go on a busier day for now until more staff are hired to speed lines up.

    Too many closed rides
I went to Adventure Island with my 16, 13 and 12 year olds. We had a fun time. It iOkay if you have a fun pass, which we have, but not worth the money is you are just going for one day . When going in to adventure island I was surprised that everything to the right of the park was closed down and being redone. The paradise lagoon slides (which were 4) and the other tube ride that was next to it are no longer available. Was a little disappointed but there are still plenty of slides, so we headed the other direction. We had fun in the rides that we were able to do, but unfortunately too may were closed which was frustrating. The corkscrew slides, the water moccasin slides (which are 3, the vanish point slides and one of the rides you need a tube with were all closed! Which left only like 4 water rides left open in the park. Then because there were just a few rides available the lines started to get extremely long because there were not many options . Same goes for the food lines and choices. There were not many options for food as many of the smaller places were closed. The workers seemed to be getting frustrated as well. There was a mom there with three toddlers and a baby waiting for them to call her ticket number to pick up her order. She waited and waited and watched everyone after her get their food and no one was calling her number. She finally went up to the window and asked if there was a problem with her order because she had been waiting for a long time and all the worker said was I don’t know. Then she said can you find out and again he just said I don’t know. At this point the mon became very frustrated. Then finally the guy asked for someone to attend to the women. I was there for all of that. My kids and I got our food and the women was still standing there waiting. If they are not going to be effective in running the food stands and have more places available the least they can do is allow people to bring in snacks and drinks. It just seems like poor management and the park not being able to be ready. They just opened and it seems like they are very unprepared . We left at 1:00 because at this point there was nothing else that we could do except the wave pool. Again we can come back because we have a fun pass and hope that next time more rides are open and that they are better prepared for customers, but it would definitely not be worth a one day ticket.
