4.0Florida Pioneer Museum(13 reviews) - Authentic pioneer era home with many artifacts and good displays Spent < 1 hour History Museums
The Florida Pioneer Museum in Florida City, near Homestead, Florida is a treasure trove of early 20th century artifacts, household goods, farm tools, railroad memorabilia and much more... staged in a pioneer home build for the local stationmaster by the FEC railroad more than a century ago. They're open much of the year on Wednesday and Saturday, staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who grew up in the area, most from pioneer families. Their web site is a wonderful resource for information about the museum, as well as articles about pioneer families and prominent citizens that contributed much to the area in their lifetimes.See more..
