Flagler Beach Municipal Pier, Florida, United States

4.5 (346 reviews) Spent Ranking #2 in Flagler Beach Piers & Boardwalks

Nice pier especially for $1 with free parking.

I was raised in Pismo Beach, CA where walking on the long pier is a nightly after dinner event. The Flagler Pier is not long or at least not by Pismo Beach standards, but it is well maintained and as a senior only costs $1. Lots of people were bottom fishing with bait, but we didn’t see any fish being caught. One interesting thing is many of the planks where you walk on the pier have engraving such as memorializing a loved one. I posted some pics showing the carved planks. Cool pier and if I lived here I’d be a regular visitor.

    Great fishing
We spent November 2021 in Flagler and walked five miles each morning to the pier. Every morning we witnessed people catching fish and enjoyed watching the surfers near the pier. There is a small fee to go onto the pier but worth the view and going home with fresh fish or a great fish story.

    Cool views
Go fish or just take a stroll onto the pier but either will cost you. My prices could be wrong but I think it was $1.50 for one to just go out on pier and like $6 to fish. The pier has parking along A1A and the Funky Pelican (a restaurant) right by it. There are other restaurants too. Great for young and old alike.
