    Very Fun!
We visited this meadery while visiting family. The meads were really good and special. Several of us had flights so that we could try several meads. The place was pretty full of people playing games and socializing. We stayed for an hour, but if we lived in the area we would return again and again.

    Mead Mecca
I first had their Zombie Killer several years ago and have been hooked on their various offerings ever since (in a healthy way). They make such interesting stuff and just pack so much well-balanced flavor into each drink. Their tasting room was definitely on my short list of things to do when visiting Detroit, and it didn't disappoint. As with most tasting rooms, they had some stuff you can get at stores, but also plenty of stuff only available in smaller batches on-site. As for the tasting room itself, the location is convenient (15 minutes from downtown sites), there's plenty of on-site parking, it has a nice cozy feel to it, and staff couldn't be friendlier. So yeah, whether you're a mead-head or new to the mead world, this place is definitely worth the visit.
