Contender for top beach in Cyprus

This is a beautiful beach with crystal clear, calm turquoise waters and in an amazing setting at the bottom of a hill. One can access water sports activities and do some snorkelling near to rocks. There is a small cafe and one can buy ice cream and snacks, albeit a little expensive so recommend taking something to eat and drink with. One can rent the usual beach chairs and umbrellas, but these tend to be rented out early during the day. Alternatively take your own umbrella. We found parking a little up the road for free. The closest parking spots fill up rather quickly in the morning.

Fantastic sheltered beach with rock jumping
This became our go-to beach after trying out a few in the area. 10 minute drive from Ayia Napa. Parking down a narrow road. Sheltered beach is handy when high winds meant the main beaches in Ayia Napa had waves too big for my kids. There is a rock which is good for diving, even small kids. There is a larger rock if you are braver, but can be dangerous so pick your landing spot carefully. The kiosk has very tasty snacks, drinks and icecreams for lunch. Water sports are available. Sun loungers are a premium and you have to be quick and ruthless, but dont give up, just keep an eye out for people getting ready to leave, or just take your own umbrella and towels. Water is crystal clear, calm and not too deep, so kids can play unsupervised in the shallows.
