Really nice waterfall for minimal effort.
Travel tip: Look for Camp Glisson Retreat Center - this is where the waterfall is at. Travel tip 2: Call Camp Glisson BEFORE you go. It's on on private property (the Retreat Center), The waterfall is well below the parking area on a very short but steep, unpaved trail. We have had a LOT of rain lately so travelers beware. If you are handicapped, stop by the Welcome Center and they can assist with allowing you to drive down to a parking lot level with the bottom of waterfall, if they are not busy (remember, it's a Retreat Center first and foremost, not a state park). Very nice people. Spectacular water flow after significant rain. Dog friendly - keep them leached and clean up after yourselves. Overlook deck and path to the bottom of the falls available. Can use walkway to view waterfall from either side of bottom of waterfall. Easy to wade in.

    Worth the trip
Very scenic and you can get very close if you want to, especially below the falls. Paved parking within 100 ft of the falls. If the gate is closed to the parking lot, there is a trail marked that begins behind the visitor building...short 5 min hike
