Delightful and unique
We make handmade pottery in our in house studio and have a showroom in the front. We welcome visitors daily . Quite a few of our pieces are made from clay mined in the area as well as a porcelain type stoneware . Most of our work is functional but we make many seasonal items as well. We have 2 shows at the pottery yearly, the summer show is the last Saturday in July and our fall show is the Sunday after Thanksgiving day.

Delightful and unique
We rented a place on Fish River and on our way to it my kids noticed Tom Jones Pottery right down the street from where we were staying. I didn’t have high expectations, and in fact stayed in the car while my kids went in, thinking they’d probably be back out and ready to leave in a few minutes. It didn’t look like much from the outside and I’m not that into pottery. After a few minutes my son came out and asked me to come in with them. We ended up spending an hour there. There were so many delightful pieces to gaze at and Susan was so welcoming and informative. We got a tour of the place, saw the Chinese parasol tree, the old kilns, the dogs and the working area. We bought several pieces and plan to go back. This is one of the few unique places left in our mass production world. And if you can’t visit soon you can purchase their pieces on their website.

Great Pottery
Tom has a very extensive selection of usable pottery. We have been visiting for years. They made some gumbo bowls for my wife on our last visit and called when they were out of the kiln. Don't forget to pet Cricket or Boombox the greyhound.
