Cozy and Fun!
This little theater in the heart of Fairhope is a low key and alternative entertainment option, whether you are visiting or a local, like us. They offer live plays in an old restored house, utilizing local talent for the production. The seating is limited but very comfortable and cozy, and there is not a bad seat in the house! We've attended many plays there over the years and find the comedies to be the best for us. They offer 4 plays each season, typically with plays in February - March, April - May, July - August and October - November. They do classics, Broadway hits, and some lesser known but high quality plays as well. You can purchase season tickets or individual shows and the prices are really reasonable for the quality of entertainment. If a show you want to see is sold out, you can usually still get in if you arrive well before the show and get on the stand-by list. I highly recommend this place as a way to experience the unique culture of my very artsy home town, Fairhope, Alabama.
