Depicts a Populist Reformer’s colony that survived
A pleasant, well displayed, small museum with enthusiastic docents that gives guests a good overview of the development of the area, what Single Tax Community is and of Jubilee - a phenomenon we certainly had not known about. The Jubilee display could use some modern photos as the event still happens. The video is long. Perhaps posting just how long it runs would be helpful. There is much information to read in the displays and the video allows those of us who are not speed readers to get the information.

Great Community Museum
Well done. Very well prepared historical perspective of Fairhope. So much information and so many images and displays that give life to the history. The fire truck was a gem. I loved the suspended lawmowers. You could spend hours just absorbing Fairhope’s history. The community is to be commended for their museum.

A great family field trip
We actually visited at an earlier date than TA will permit me to put, so I did the best to capture the right time of year. Our family enjoyed the museum on a field trip day. It was great to seek the stories of the town and learn about important people and places that helped shape Fairhope. I think one memory we will keep for years was taking turns at cracking the code on the safe. We enjoyed the town, the museum, the food, and the shops.
