I think this place is lovely but do not miss its baby sister, Plaza Chica - just behind it, through a gap in the top right corner.

So Much Fun
This plaza is quite busy, there are numerous restaurants and some bars. There is something for everyone. There is a lovely walking area and it is super safe. You can spend a few hours or a couple of days, that is up to you. It is worth the time to take this side visit that is not just on the old beaten path. It is fun. Around the corner is Plaza Chica which is also wonderful. The Plaza is partially walled with such great little streets. There is a hotel if you want, which is located in an old castle. We ate there and loved it, but did not stay at the hotel. The areas around the Plaza are great as well. The people are very kind, so be nice. I saw a couple drunk, making a fool of themselves and I thought, yep, they are American, maybe I should start saying I am from Canada. Have a great time.

Beautiful historic plaza. Bursting with character..,surrounded by bars and restaurants ..Fabulous place to eat and watc
Lovely square in a super pretty historic town ..ideal for a lazy lunch or evening drinks ..Zafra being the ideal place to stroll around and take in the historic ambience of this lovely place
