A nice walk through a rain forest.
We did the Gumbo Limbo trail after walking the Anhinga Trail. It was interesting how much cooler it was beneath the tropical foliage, though the mosquitoes were eager to feast on us. We saw lots of little lizards, but no larger critters.

Short nature walk
The main reason to complete this hike is to see the contrast between this densely-wooded section of the Everglades and the open-air, waterlogged Anhinga Trail that's immediately adjacent. Other than this contrast, it's a walk through a bunch of trees with nothing especially notable. Fortunately, it takes less than 15 minutes to complete.
