A most beautifully relaxing day with Alex and his team. All well organised and easily manageable even for inexperienced kayakers. I can’t recommend this highly enough

    Easy, relaxing, informative, beautiful
    Take a kayak down the Sarakata river. over small rapids, through the bush. no people except occasional children playing on the banks or a prawn fisherman. One company, Island Time, offers the trip. Owner Alex is working on permits for the higher sections of the river which will be faster with more rapids.
