Matevulu blue hole.
Paddled here from Turtle Bay Lodge. Worth the paddle as you go upstream from the lagoon. Water crystal clear and tree canopy overhead and peace and quiet of the Bush is amazing. Then you get to the blue hole and it all goes up to another level of amazing. The color and clarity of the water is incredible and snorkelling around looking for fish is great. The rope swings are lots of fun too. Altogether an amazing place!

Canoeing to Matevulu blue hole from Oyster Island
A great day is to go to Oyster island( about 1/2 an hour drive from Luganville by taxi), book in for their gourmet buffet lunch (2,400 Vatu per person) which includes canoe hire, paddle across the bay and up the river to the Matevulu blue hole. Here you can beach your boats and enjoy swinging on a rope from a high platform into the beautiful blue water . If you are brave enough you can also climb a thick overhanging tree branch and launch yourself from there. When you are done you paddle back to your scrumptious lunch which includes chocolate ribs - delicious!
