A nice and unusual lake

I visited this lake together with my friends on the way to Erzurum. As compared to lakes I've seen before, it has very steep shores... A nice sight overall, see the pic attached.

    Beautiful landscapes
    Drive north of Erzurum on the D950 highway to see Tortum lake, but also breath-taking landscapes. Further north, there are Tortum waterfalls. Between the falls and the luttle town of Tortum, there are very old Georgian churches to be visited and very typical villages. That makes for a great afternoon!

    amazing green color
    The color of the water is amazing. You also had a chance to swim, canoe or row a boat. There are some restaurants around with great scenery and delicious fish.
